David Dreier

David Dreier is a prominent figure in politics and business.

In his political career, Dreier was elected as one of the youngest members of the United States Congress in 1980 and became a key member of the House Leadership as Chairman of the Rules Committee. Dreier is known for his advocacy of open commerce and has worked with five U.S. Presidents to advance trade liberalization. He was instrumental in structuring debates on public policy issues and was a founding Chairman of the bipartisan House Democracy Partnership.

In his business career, Dreier was the chairman of the Tribune Publishing Company and the Chairman of the Annenberg-Dreier Commission at Sunnylands, promoting Walter Annenberg's vision of connecting Asia, the Americas, and the Greater Pacific. He is also the Founder of the Dreier Roundtable at Claremont McKenna College and has served on various boards, including Caltech and the Los Angeles Mission Foundation. Dreier is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Dreier's contributions have been recognized with numerous awards and honors from both the U.S. and foreign governments. He continues to be active in diplomatic missions, television appearances, and as a contributor to publications. He holds an honors degree from Claremont McKenna College and a Master's degree from Claremont Graduate University.
