Dr. Albert Knapp, Psy.D.

Director of ABA Program

Dr. Albert Knapp, Psy.D., is a Clinical Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral based in California. He received his doctorate from Argosy University, where his research on the effects of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) on parental stress earned him the distinction of “Outstanding Clinical Research Project.” An expert in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Dr. Knapp has extensively applied his specialization in ASD across multiple settings. He has not only taught graduate-level ABA courses at institutions like National University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology but also authored a seminal book on parenting children with ASD, set to be published in September 2020. Dr. Knapp directs Albert Knapp & Associates, a pioneering group practice that serves as a high-caliber training site for ABA and mental health professionals. His professional achievements are complemented by his active participation in community initiatives and his membership in key organizations such as the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
