Andy is an advisory board member at Cognitive Leap. He is active in capacities including physician, engineer, entrepreneur, and investor. Andy received his MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine, trained as an anesthesiologist, and has a BS in Engineering from Stanford where he was a President’s Scholar and recipient of Engineering Honors.

 

Andy has extensive experience in the financial sector which he gained as an analyst in the technology sector at a New York hedge fund with one of the highest performing track records in history. Andy is a co-founder and partner at Uprising, a VC firm in Silicon Valley, was on the founding team at PL Capital, and founded four other technology companies.
